This submission is for A Smith Gallery is Johnson City, TX. It's a great gallery in a really quirky town. The deadline for the submission is August 4, 2014. The entry fee is $30 for the first 5 images and $6 for each additional image. There are a couple of awards: Juror's Award for $325, Director's Award for $250 and an exhibition catalogue, Visitor's Award for $100, and 5 Honorable Mentions will receive an exhibition catalogue!
The juror is Blue Mitchell, who is an independent curator, publisher, educator, and photographer from Portland, OR. He's also the founding editor of Diffusion Magazine, as well as the curator for Plates to Pixels, an online gallery that works with antiquated photographic processes and new digital media.
