The Art of Handmade & Alternative Photography – A Juried Exhibition

The Vermont Center for Photography is proud to introduce our latest call-for-entry for our upcoming juried exhibition featuring photography of any subject matter using any type of alternative or handmade photographic process to create the printed image. The image can be captured using a digital SLR, but the resulting print on display must be achieved using a handmade process.

We are looking for those who are working in these mediums to submit up to FOUR images to be considered for a month-long juried exhibition at the Vermont Center for Photography. All work should be framed or “ready-to-hang” upon arrival. Please refer to the important dates below for reference:
Saturday, March 1, 2014………………….Deadline for submission
Friday, March 7, 2014………………………Notification of acceptance
Saturday, March 29, 2014…………………All accepted work must be received at VCP by this date
April 4 – 27, 2014……………………………Exhibition
Friday, April 4 – 5:30 to 8:30pm………….Reception

All work accepted into this show will be featured in a limited edition 7×7” softcover exhibition catalog which will be available to all participants as well as the public. By submitting to this exhibition, you are granting VCP permission to reproduce any accepted work in this catalog. Each artist will be fully credited and acknowledged for his/her work.

You can submit up to 4 images for consideration.  Images should be saved at 300dpi with the longest edge measuring 7''. Please save all files as ".jpg" files.

Entry Fee is $15 for students
