Deadline: Thursday, March 29- Midnight
The annual Helen Levitt Photography Contest. I
think the contest is a great opportunity for students as it results in a local
exhibition of work and awards cash prizes. I helped convince the contest
administrators to extend the deadline to midnight Thursday of this week because
it originally fell during the SCAD break. It would be great If you could
encourage your students to submit as it gives them experience with contests
that is simple and local. It would be even greater if you could forward the
link below to your classes. The Helen Levitt Contest is a wonderful resource
for Savannah and SCAD Photo students and I'm hoping your students continued
involvement will keep the exhibition fresh and engaging while ensuring it can
occur annually.
